Roles & Responsibility
- Responsible to maintain the Hardware, Software and Accessories at the Schools.
- Provide assistance to the teachers in the use of the Multimedia based content.
- Provide 1 day refresher training to the subject teachers of the district every 3 months.
- To visit once a week each school for one full day to aid computer sessions for classes 8,9,10,11 & 12.
- Supports teachers in thier AV room lesson and COMPUTER AIDED LEARNING usage
- To work out the schedule of classes in consultation with the Head Master(HM) for slots in the time-table (this is to be based on the session plans for both Computer Education & COMPUTER AIDED LEARNING)

- To conduct/ arrange Teacher Training Program
- To conduct refresher training for teachers once a quarter
- To varify maintenance of registers, files, software by the teacher-in charge
- To visit the HM during every school visit, update him/her about the proceedings and seek his help wherever necessary
- To check if the MIS is updated regularly by the teacher in-charge
- Check whether computer faculty/teacher follows the courseware & effectively handles the classes
- Check the adherences of the session plan
- Check the usage of CAL CDs by students and guide the teachers to use the CDs
Teacher Training
- To create awareness and understaning to appreciate the role of Information Technology in education
- To empower teachers to use technology as a tool to perform everyday school activities
- To equip teachers to create presentations fro student learning
- To equip teachers in operating computers in basic installation of software
- To equip the teachers in using the CALsoftware in creating lesson plans & using it for student learning
- The teachers becomes capable of using computer for normal operation & installing, operating & using the software
